The Garden
Jefferson Market Garden
Our ceremony will take place at Jefferson Market Garden, a hidden gem tucked behind the landmark Victorian Gothic courthouse in Greenwich Village.
The site has lived many lives—it was a market in 1833, then a courthouse once voted the fifth most beautiful building in America, then a women’s House of Detention, before neighborhood activists transformed it into the beloved community garden it is today.
It’s the kind of New York place that makes you stop on the sidewalk and wonder how you’ve never noticed it before. We can’t wait to be married there.
